My approach to privacy
I (Dr Eileen Siddins) operate the website https://www.wellartist.org for my business and other research purposes. My policy is to respect your privacy and any information that I might collect while you visit this website, and during the lifespan of our project.
Collecting personal information
My website collects information that web browsers and servers typically make available, including browser type, and the date and time of each visitor request. By collecting this information, I better understand how my visitors use the website. When you browse my site, I receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) to learn about your browser and operating system. I may also collect personal information that you give me (e.g., your name, address, and email address) when you complete an online form to contact me. I am the only person who will use this identifying information.
Sharing personal and/or confidential information
I may occasionally hire other parties to provide services on my behalf. Unless written consent is provided, I will not disclose confidential information with these parties. I take reasonable steps to share relevant personal information with parties who will uphold confidentiality and privacy obligations.
My terms of service outline that all parties involved in a project must not disclose confidential information to other parties. This means that we both must keep confidential and safeguard such confidential information by taking necessary steps to protect it against theft and unauthorised access.
How I store personal information
I keep a record of personal details such as our email correspondence, meeting minutes, and all project details on file. Some of these files are stored in an online cloud. If the files contain your confidential information, you can request that all electronic and physical copies that I posses are delivered, erased, or destroyed. However, I must retain your confidential information for the purpose of complying with any law, litigation, or performing any obligations in alignment with our project agreement.
Accessing your personal information
You have a right to access your personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by the Privacy Act 1988. If you would like to do so, please submit your request to me in writing, for security reasons. I reserves the right to charge a fee for searching and providing access to your information for each request.
Embedded content from other websites
This site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way, as if the visitor has visited the other website. Please note that these websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Changes to my privacy policy
Although most changes are likely to be minor, I reserves the right to make amendments to this Privacy Policy at any time. I encourage you to check this page from time to time if you have questions about your personal information. Alternatively, you can contact me.
